WHAT I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS
The number of children waiting for foster homes is staggering. The number of children in group homes waiting for foster homes is also dismaying. We believe we have the training and support to help anyone thinking perhaps they would like to be a foster parent, succeed.
Yes, it is a difficult job, and it holds so many problems, such as natural children, how your family would view it, vacations, on and on.
We faced all those problems too, and many more. However, we believed in what we were doing, and we believe in the whole process still today. We believe in people who want to this job, and we believe we can help them succeed.
So, as sappy as it sounds, what I want for Christmas is enough foster homes to take care of our children, and enough to take care of those calls we get every day, and have no homes for. Wow, wouldn't that really be the greatest Christmas ever!
